Who We Serve
OUR MISSION
To provide covering, instruction and counsel for faith-based leaders; enabling them to effectively maintain a healthy family structure, build their ministry, and impact the world.
OUR GOAL
Almost everything stands and falls on leadership. "Where there is no vision, the people perish." – Proverbs 29:18. The goal of Dunamis is to build strong leaders who will in turn build up those entrusted in their care.
Prelates & Pastors
There is an old adage that says, “every pastor needs a pastor.” Dunamis is one Holy Church that covers Presiding Prelates, Bishops, Overseers, and Senior Pastors. Whether you and your church are looking for covering for the days ahead or perhaps your ministry is in transition and needs a safe place to recover for a season, we are here for you. There is no long-term commitment or specific requirements to join our community of love, faith, and holy friendship.
Ministries
While many organizations are built to house and grow churches, Dunamis also welcomes and covers ministries of any kind. If you have your own non-profit organization, a mission, or even a personal ministry that keeps your itinerary full, we have a place and a people for you to connect with.
Entrepreneurs
Faith-based businesses aren’t always a company designed to serve the church in a traditional sense. Entrepreneurs of faith create Christian businesses, no matter the product or service. Open yourself up to prayer, business advice, a new network, and hundreds to thousands of new potential clients.

ARCHBISHOP ROBERT J. ROCHFORD, SR.
Archbishop Robert Joel Rochford Sr. is a native of Brooklyn, New York. Handpicked by God amongst a family of great ministry gifts, he accepted Jesus Christ at the age of 14 and began preaching the Gospel at just 15 years old.
In the early years of his ministry, Archbishop Rochford was groomed by his eldest brother, the late Apostle Norman Rochford, and he traveled extensively ministering at crusades with his brother Dr. Milton Rochford and sister Dr. Lavonne Burno. His passion for preaching and his love for the word of God continued to grow, as did his reputation as a man of God.
In 1979, Bishop Rochford answered God’s call to leadership and established New Life Cathedral in Brooklyn, NY. He has served faithfully as the senior pastor for over 35 years, and the ministry continues to flourish. Archbishop Rochford is presently commissioning local pastors to establish satellite churches in the metropolitan area. The first of four new ministries was birthed in Queens, New York, in 2007, and the second ministry was birthed in Brooklyn in 2010.
In 1990, Archbishop Rochford joined the Pilgrim Assemblies International, Inc. under the leadership of Archbishop Roy E. Brown. In 1994, he was consecrated and elevated to the episcopacy. In 2012, after 22 years of service in the Assemblies, including 17 years as the First Assistant to the Presiding Bishop, the Lord released Archbishop Rochford to establish the Dunamis Covenant Connection, an organization through which he provides Apostolic oversight to pastors and churches. He was installed as the Chief Prelate of Dunamis in 2013 and officially elevated to the archbishopric on July 8, 2016.
Archbishop Rochford proudly completed his doctoral degree, D.Min, from Virginia Union University in 2023, further enriching his ministry with knowledge and wisdom.
Throughout his ministry journey, Archbishop Rochford has remained dedicated to his family. He and his late wife, the incomparable Senior Executive Pastor Lois Elaine Rochford, raised two adult children and ministry gifts, Pastor Melaine Rochford and Pastor Robert Rochford II. His experience as a husband and father, coupled with his passion for ministering to families, inspired his first book, "Bone of My Bone, Flesh of My Flesh," a relationship manual emphasizing the importance of marriage.
God favored Archbishop Rochford and he was blessed to join in marriage with the lovely Elect Lady Pamela Rochford who has extended his life in love, happiness, and partnership. Together, they carry out his present vision within the local assembly as well as the nation and abroad.
As he continues to serve God faithfully, Archbishop Rochford is most recently excited by the newest joy of his life, Olivia Lois Rochford, his first grandchild.
